Indigo’s Stand at Westfield Shopping Centre, London 2010

This is the third stand we’ve built for our ‘on the road’ events and the theme was ‘Eccentrically British’. This really reflects the mentality we have with our furniture – The old victorian “over-engineered” approach towards design. We used four massive reclaimed beams measuring up to 15ft! The beams were salvaged from an old Rolls Royce factory and were finished with our Oker wax finish. The floor was also made from reclaimed boards (talk about the ultimate recycling!) On show was our well-known Reclaimed Beam Bed which was complimented by the towering structure of the stand around it. Other items included our Outdoor Oak Beam Table, the new and very popular Plank Double Desk, Curved Arm Cuddler plus much more! The stand was finished off with a real tree that creeped up one of the reclaimed beams, and from that we hung some of our straightback dining chairs to reflect our epigram – ’Nature’s Design’
