Our “cheque book” option comes, from Indigo Furniture. We used them on a recent How not to decorate and they saved our bacon.

The furniture we initially ordered (from a different company) arrived on set and was thoroughly disappointing. Eventually we found a suitable replacement on the net – a 5’ x 3’ timber table with solid timber chairs. Indigo explained its order time is generally eight weeks but actually processed our panicked demand in 24 hours. And so it came to pass that its “Taper Shaker” dining set arrived on location. Beautifully crafted from solid timber we breathed a sigh of relief as we tore away the bubble wrap – no wonder, then, that our home owner literally wept as we revealed it at the day. Then, oh dear, we wept, because as much as we love a drama….we prefer it when things turn out perfectly.
