M1 southbound - to J29. Right at the roundabout onto the A617 towards Chesterfield. Follow on the duel carriageway for approximately 3 miles to the first roundabout. 1st left (A61) - 100 yards - past McDonalds - past car sales (watch out for the speed camera!).

After approximately 400 metres turn right (at the lights) - towards Matlock on the A619 - up the hill and over the mini roundabout. This leads onto the A632 - for approximately 8 miles - past Matlock Golf Club on the right - drop down the steep hill - past Duke Wellington pub on right. This brings you to a T junction at the bottom of the hill - turn right.

After about 400 metres - past Matlock Town FC - then Woolworths - to the roundabout. Follow straight over (over the bridge) and turn right straight after the bridge into the Railway car park - Free parking.

As you walk out of the station car park - HSBC in front of you - walk up to the pelican crossing (straight over from car park) - we are on the crossing - Dale Road.
