- Are samples of the wood or leather available?
- Of course! You can order samples via the product pages, alternatively follow the link below. Our Plank Wood and Lime Wood samples are digital samples which are high resolution images, our leather and fabric samples are actual 90mm x 50mm (approx) pieces of the material itself, please fill in our sample request form here....
- Where is the furniture made?
- All of our Plank and Oak Ranges are handmade locally here in the Peak District by skilled craftsmen using traditional methods. Our Vintage Leather Range is manufactured in Europe with the leathers coming in from both Italy & South America. We passionate about supplying good value, high quality furniture and our leather items are no exception; which is backed up by the Legendary guarantees we offer.
- What timber is used?
- The majority of our furniture is made using kiln dried Quebec Yellow Wood which is sourced from sustainable forests. The timber used for the Plank Range and Oak Ranges is sourced from suppliers that can provide the reassurance of legal and progressively sustainable supplies of wood.
When the timber is purchased the supplier has to provide us with legal documents to show that it has been sourced from well managed forests. This means the tree used in your product has been replaced and the forest managed in such a way as to benefit the local economy, community and wildlife.
Our supplier in the UK is a member of the Timber Trade Federation which follows a code of conduct to ensure a responsible purchasing policy. Our Oak Block furniture is sourced from a small PEFC* certified timber yard in France. * The PEFC Council (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes) is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organisation, founded in 1999 which promotes sustainably managed forests through independent third party certification - Can I alter the sizes of your products to fit my needs?
- Yes. All our Plank and Oak Block ranges are handmade locally especially for you, this means that alterations to the dimensions can be made for a small charge depending on the change. This is usually £60 for cabinets and £40 - £60 on beds. All our dining tables can be made to any size (this is in increments of 6” on length and width); the price is then calculated on the normal retail cost of the table. Unfortunately we’re unable to alter the sizes of the leather items however we do offer a vast range of sizes; we’re pretty confident that there will be a size that will make the most of your space, if you need any help please call a member of our sales team and we can go through the options with you. To make changes to the dimensions of our furniture please call our Sales Team on 01629 581800 to discuss the options.

- Sorry, but we do not supply to other retailers; we aim to achieve the best possible service to our own customers and therefore concentrate on giving them best service possible.
