X Factor 2009

“For the fourth consecutive year running Britain’s number one TV show, ‘The X Factor’ has approached Matlock based ‘Indigo Furniture’ for help!

Having been involved for the past three series, the ITV production team for this year’s series of The X Factor needed Indigo’s assistance to furnish the 2009 finalists’ London mansion. Indigo were first approached back in 2006 where they put together a range of their renowned Plank and Vintage Leather furniture and fully furnished the home of the chosen few X Factor finalists. Chunky Bunks, Big One Sofas, Mooo Hide Diners and a massive 16′ × 6′ Junk Table were supplied to the house and all of which were loved by the contestants.

The team at Indigo has been lucky enough to see how the show works behind the scenes and find which of the wannabe stars were as nice as they appeared on the box. Sales Director Tim Lowry said "You’d be amazed what some of the people in the show are really like, with some it’s like they’ve had a number one album already. Having said that, we’ve found that most have been lovely, particularly the likes of Leona Lewis and JLS who were great, so overall it’s been a bit of an eye opener!” Tim went on to say “We’ve been lucky enough to get tickets for a number of the shows again this year, including tickets to the grand final! So watch out on the Indigo web site as we’ll be offering them as a prize later this year”.
