Made from solid oak beams, purchased from a family owned saw mill in Central France, the bench is handcrafted in our Limited Editions workshop here in Derbyshire.

The oak used for your Outdoor Oak Bench is semi-seasoned; the timber is air dried for up to 4 years and will continue to dry out after the table is made. The oak will feel dry to the touch but the centre will still be slightly damp as this part takes the longest to dry, once placed in your garden the drying process will continue even when rained on, throughout this process the natural shakes in the wood will open up further and add to the unique character of the piece.
