Colin and Justin have won an award - and have so let it go to their heads.

Darlings, you've got winners in your midst!
Yes, yours trulies have just collected the 2005 House Beautiful Awards silver gong as Favourite Home TV Celebrity. And we're writing this fresh from our success.

The hangovers are still kicking in, but we're counting our lucky stars that we've got the morning off to a) file copy with your favourite paper and b) rest and recuperate before we start filming again.

But blimey - you could have knocked us down with a feather as we sat at Bafta headquarters and heard our names announced. So thank you, dear readers, if you voted.

The award means a huge amount to us, and as we sat there, knocking back the champers with Linda Barker and Amanda Lamb, we don't mind recalling that we had several strange looks as we sat hugging and kissing the huge crystal nugget that was our prize.

Okay, so maybe the strange looks were something to do with our outfits (we were wearing matching his and his black and white kilts by Scottish kilt supremos Slanj) but either way we had brilliant feedback from the audience.

The night, aside from our award, was all about industry recognition and acknowledging manufacturers who've created the best products in the last 12 months.

And so it came to pass that all this award winning and nomination made us decide that for this week we'd create our own list of winners.

With this in mind we've assembled a who's who of retailers and their products that we've used and enjoyed. Manufacturers who, we think, have made a difference to the world of home interest and design.

And how about sofas?
Gold goes to Indigo Furniture (www.indigofurniture.co.uk) who do the best value chocolate brown corner suites that we've ever come across. Huge and comfy, it's made of `distressed' brown hide that's one of the best quality leathers we've come across in ages.
