LIVING BRITISH | THE INDIGO FILM
Indigo are proud to announce the completion of Indigo: Living British. A short film on a traditional British furniture brand. Set in and around Indigo’s home in the heart of the Peak District, the film gives a unique insight into the inner workings of the brand including a whistle top tour of the workshop and timber yards, culminating in the Matlock showroom, nestled on Matlock’s historic Dale Road.
Narrated by Co-director Miles Gregory the piece touches on Indigo’s inspiring heritage, devotion to time honoured woodworking skills and the classic WW2 era machinery restored to full working order and in use today.
Co-Founder David Castle said “We felt that as a company Indigo Furniture stands out from the crowd in so many ways. Our commitment and attention to detail from the very start – carefully selecting raw materials to the pattern making of iron cast metal work. Indigo is proud to be a friendly, warm company we hope this comes across in the piece.”
