A small living room doesn’t have to feel cramped if you get the furniture right, you can still have plenty of room for family and friends by making the space work as hard
as it can for you. Small sofas and armchairs can provide ample seating when arranged around the room to best effect. Most Indigo sofa designs have removable arms – for ease of delivery and installation.

Tip #1 Smaller Seating Designs
Choose smaller sofa designs so that they don’t cramp the space, or choose 2-3 armchairs arranged in a ‘L’ or ‘U’ shape around your coffee table.
Tip #2 Footstools, Pods & Cubes.
If you long for a corner sofa but space doesn’t permit create a lounging corner with a footstool or cube, which can also double up as extra seating for little ones and impromptu guests.
Tip #3 Storage, storage, storage!
The key to a small space is stacks of storage – choose a coffee table which has a lift-lid such as our Tequila Chest.
Tip #4 Side Tables.
Go for a smaller coffee table but make sure each seat has its own side table – to avoid drinks being kicked over, a nest of side table are a fab space saving idea and you can just stack them up together out of the way.

Again, think about changing the layout of your living room and having a pair of smaller sofas, either opposite each other across your coffee table, or at right angles to each other to create a cosy corner. Team with a little side table to protect against drinks being kicked over when placed on the floor.
Square Arm Leather Cuddler
