The Indigo reclaimed range is hewn from salvaged structural timbers such as roof rafters, purlins and joists; hand-selected from historic sites all over Britain, which include The Rolls Royce factory and the iconic Big Dipper Roller Coaster in Blackpool. Read more »
Indigo craftsmen painstakingly remove metalwork from the beams including truss plates, nails, brads and bolts. Holes and notches in the timber seen on the surface of the timber were once part of lapped joints and mortise and tenons on areas such as the A-frames and joists of buildings. Other signs and marks left may have been left by industrial machinery anchored to the wood such as tracking, hoists and chain lifts. Read more »
